Supporting educational initiatives in the Wakiso District of Uganda
The Wakiso Hope Project is a 501c3 organization that works to provide education and basic human needs for orphaned and underprivileged children in Uganda. It is dedicated to the belief that all children deserve an opportunity for a healthy, productive life regardless of ethnic or religious background.

Wakiso Hope Project Provides
Education
The foundation of every vibrant community can be found in its education system. Wakiso Hope Project is combating the poverty stricken children of Uganda through through literacy and education programs offered by the school it founded, constructed and is currently in operation.
Structure
The children we serve are in desperate need of structure in their lives. While enrolled in our school, the children learn to care for themselves, their community, and their school facility. Life in this area is very demanding and requires much of its students, who in return, are creating a thriving and improving community.
Safety
Illiteracy and poverty are catalysts for exploitation, and extremism. Girls are especially at risk as their parents offset the financial burden of caring for them by removing them from school and sending them out to work as a means of supporting the family. Other parents may remove their daughters from school to prepare them for marriage as teenagers because they can’t afford their eduction. Our school and program provides a safety net for those most at risk.
Dignity
Where there is hope, there is light. Where there is light, there is life. The Wakiso Hope school is open to all children regardless of their ethnic or religious background. This open acceptance creates a welcoming and more relaxed environment — creating the perfect atmosphere for significant change and hope for the children.
Making An Impact
Through your support and our efforts on the ground, we’re already improving the lives of children and adults.

The Challenges Of Education In Uganda
It is common to find public school classes with well over one hundred students, very few facilities and demotivated, over-worked teachers.

Leadership And Stewardship
Prior to funding specific agricultural projects, the Wakiso Hope Project receives a budget from our Ugandan partners…

Sustainable Farm Initiative
The farm will use sustainable farming techniques that enable the school to meet its financial needs without compromising the environment for future generations.
